I went with the Batidos de Papaya (papaya shake)
And the El Cubano Sandwich (slow roasted Pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, mayonnaise and mustard served on a Cuban Roll and grilled).
The shake was pretty good, made with fresh papaya, while the sandwich was just okay.
I stopped by Donut Cafe next door at 399 Shrewsbury Street as well, getting a Apricot filled Donut.
Nothing special really.
After work, I met with my friend at Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus. The largest Chinese restaurant in America, and pretty nice inside.
For drinks, my friend got the Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri,
While For food, we got the Kang Liang (Thai soup with Zucchini, Shrimp, spinach, Baby corn)
And the Lobster in Spicy Garlic Sauce.
The Lobster was pretty tasty, although the soup tasted really weird.
We could not leave without getting the Giant Kowloon Fortune Cookie (hand formed, dipped in premium milk chocolate, topped with heath bar crunch and drizzled with dark Chocolate), which was exactly just that.
It was just alright though.
Overall, nice place but really overpriced Americanized Chinese food. Not coming back again.
