We had a second company lunch today with a much smaller crowd at Thai Place in Shrewsbury. This time, I got the Pad See Eaw (Fresh house wide rice noodle, pan fried with chicken, broccoli, carrots, bean sprouts, mushrooms, in sweet black bean sauce.)
Not bad, but not the bad I have had.
For dinner, we stopped by the Vin Bin, a place selling all sorts of alcohol in Southborough, which also does sandwiches,
of which we got the Pulled Pork (chipotle BBQ pork, cole slaw, swiss cheese, honey mustard, red onion, cilantro, pickles, ciabatta).
Pretty good actually.
Our last stop for the day was for dessert at Tealosophy in Boston, a nice looking cafe which serves Taiwanese shaved snow.
We got the Strawberry Shaved Snow with fresh mango and straberries.
I liked it, although my other half thought it was just so-so. Might come back again to try other flavors.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
