Today, we decided to go check out the August Moon Festival, which was being held at the Quincy High School in Quincy. Very Americanized to say the least. no lanterns in sight.
For dinner, we decided to check out Scruffy Murphy's, a new Irish bar restaurant in Worcester affiliated with Funky Murphy's in town. We got the Scruffy's Shepherd's Pie (choice ground sirloin in a smooth gravy with carrots, onions and peas topped with creamy mashed potatoes, served with garlic bread)
and the Dublin Dip Sliders (thinly sliced prime rib, swiss cheese, and horseradish sauce, on 3 slider buns with a side of au jus dipping sauce).
Really good food for relatively cheap. Not bad at all.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
