June 2nd 2021: Stillwater Basin, West Boylston

Today, we decided to go on a hike to find Stillwater Basin in West Boylston, where the path we took is shown below in pink.

Pretty easy trail to walk, with a nice view of the water body at the end.

Apparently I missed a view of Muddy Pond from the other end of the trail in Sterling. Will come back again for that next time.

For dinner, we decided to check out The Brick Mexican Grill, a small Mexican bar restaurant in Sterling. Pretty busy today.

We got the Homemade Red Sangria,
the Lentil Soup (Hearty lentils, carrots and caramelized onion with sautéed garlic, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and hand chopped green onion.),
THE BRICK CHICKEN MOLE (Chicken breast slowly cooked with Mexican spices, herbs and chocolate sauce, create a mysterious dark sauce with very light sweet flavor. Crowned with toasted sesame seeds. Served with rice.)
and the Tres Leches Cake for dessert.

The drink was actually pretty good, as was the soup and the chicken. The dessert was a little sweet, but overall a really good meal here, despite a bit of a wait for the food to come. Overall, a really good evening out in the Sterling area.
