Having tried Coco Leaf in Boston so many times, we decided to try another Vietnamese dessert place, this time Bambu Dessert and Drinks in Randolph, which has branches all over the US.
We got the Bambu Combo (Red, white, mung bean; taro, pearls, pandan jelly & combo jelly, coconut milk)
and the Pandan Waffle.
The dessert was not bad, although my other half thought Coco Leaf was still better, and less expensive, although we really liked the waffle.
For dinner, we went to grab some pizza from Super Chef Pizza in Quincy, getting the Buffalo Chicken (Topped with mix of buffalo chicken, bacon & special hot sauce. Served with blue cheese)
and the Chicken Carbonara (Delicious Creamy Alfredo Sauce With grilled Mushrooms & Crispy Bacon Over Ziti),which also came with garlic bread.
The pizza was plain and nothing special, while the pasta was a little on the salty side. Needless to say, not coming back again.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
