While on the way home today, we decided to have an early dinner at Temazcal, a new Mexican restaurant in Framingham.
We got the Temazcal Antojitos Platter
(roasted chicken taquito (corn tortilla, queso fresco, salsa verde), carne empanada (short rib, chihuahua cheese, chipotle aioli), scallop rollitos (bacon, avocado, mango salsa, chipotle aioli),
although I did not get to try any of it, the Pork Chuleta En Café (coffee rubbed pork chop, rajas, mezcal demi glaze, mac & queso migas)
and the Flan (egg coconut custard, caramel sauce, mixed berries, toasted coconut) for dessert.
My other half informed me that the appetizers were just so-so, being all fried stuff, although the pork was pretty heavenly, being juicy and fatty, on top of being flavorful. The mac and cheese that came with it was pretty good too. As for the flan, although I am not a fan of coconut, it was convincingly good. Definitely worth coming back again.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
