My other half liked NOLA Cajun Kitchen in West Boylston so much that she just had to go there again today.
This time round, we got the Live Mussels/Live Louisiana Crawfish/Shrimp without Head Seafood Boil (tossed in NOLA secret sauce, comes with potato and corn)
and the Turkey Neck,
which was literally that, 4 turkey necks.
The seafood was delicious as always, but the turkey was a little tough to eat, with bones and all. Not a good experience. Definitely a one time try and never again thing.
We were still hungry after the meal though, and decided to go check out Boardroom, a new bar restaurant that has taken the place of Rocky's which we visited a long time ago and did not like very much.
Definitely much better looking now than the dive bar it was before.
We got the Fried Chicken Sandy (Crispy Thigh, Citrus Cabbage Slaw, Sour Pickles, Sriracha Lemon Aioli, Brioche Bun),
which was surprisingly tasty and crispy. Definitely a much better replacement for Rocky's.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
