We decided to take the family out strawberry picking today, at the Boston Hill Farm in North Andover.
Unfortunately, due to the great turnout yesterday, the good strawberries were few and far between, and they were not sweet.
We also got ice cream here, namely the Strawberry and Coconut flavors.
I liked the flavor, but my other half did not like the bubble gum like texture. Dissapointing day for fruit picking.
For dinner, we stopped by Sudbury for dinner at Twenty Nine: Rustic Mediterranean, a somewhat upscale place.
We got the Spaghetti ala Chitarra and Pork Shoulder Sugo (slow simmered sauce with roasted pork shoulder, fennel, lemon and herb ricotta, shaved reggiano cheese)
and the Pistou Provencal (classic french vegetable stew with pancetta, crusty bread, basil garlic pistou).
The pasta was a tad too cheesy, while the soup a little salty, and the bread slightly burnt. Not sure I want to come back again, especially at the price.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
