June 8th 2019: Finishing Up Towns in Massachusetts and Rhode Island

I started out this morning in Worcester,
Cambridge Street School
heading into Princeton, where I checked out the Princeton Historical Society,

a small room located within the Princeton Public Library.
From here, I decided to get something to eat from The Thirsty Lab, a grocery store in town with a small cafe inside.
I got the Moroccan and Leek Soup, which was a good start to the day I guess.
From here, it was on to my first hike of the day at the Stillwater Scenic Trail in Smithfield RI. The path I took from 88 Capron Road is shown below in pink.
Okay views of the waterfalls here,
and of Stillwater Pond,

but overall not very close to the water at all.
Next, I visited Wat Lao Buddhovath of Rhode Island in town,
then headed into Central Falls RI,
Veterans Memorial Park,
416 Hunt Street
St. Ephraim's Syrian Church
Universal Church
Old Fire Station, 555 Broad Street
City Hall, 580 Broad Street
Bible Baptist Church, 161 Cross Street
Conant Thread Mills

visiting Jenks Park

where Cogswell Tower is located.
With that, I was done with Central Falls, and headed into Pawtucket next door,
Art Lofts, 392 Pine Street

Collyer Park
Leon A Mathieu Senior Center
Wilkinson Park,
Main Street and Park Place
Park Place Congregational Church
St. Paul's Church
Church Hill Grammar School
Slater Cotton Mill Apartments
Blackstone Landing
Casa De Oracion Getsemani
Old Fire Station #4, 474 Broadway
Good Shepherd Church
Our Lady of Consolation Church
Old Royal Weaving Company,
21 Sabin Street
Immanuel Baptist Church
Darlington Congregational Church
Hasbro, 1027 Newport Avenue
Ten Mile Reservoir,
900 Armistice Boulevard
St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church

going for a short hike at the Ten Mile River Greenway, hiking a short distance from 401 Daggett Avenue to check out the water body here. Nothing special though.
I also checked out Slater Memorial Park in town
before finally calling it a day for sightseeing, heading to the California Taco Shop in town to grab a bite.
I got the Shrimp Burrito (rice, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream)
which was a little bland in my opinion. Not coming back for sure.

Before dinner, I decided to stop by The Green Thumb in Westborough,
getting a Maple Walnut Ice Cream.
Not bad for dessert, with real pecans in it.

For dinner, we headed into Sudbury to the new Thai place, Riceberry, which has taken the place of Paani, which we visited a while ago. Same decor still though.
We got the Spicy Lemongrass Beef Salad (Grilled beef, English cucumbers, lemongrass, red onions, red and green peppers, tomatoes, cilantro, and scallions mixed with house spicy sauce.)
and the Riceberry Pad Thai (Stir fried rice noodles with red onions, sweet radish pickle, bean sprouts, tofu, peanuts, egg, and crispy chicken topped with scallion)
The salad was really flavorful, yet not too spicy, while the chicken was not dry yet crispy and tasty, going really well with the noodles. Definitely not a disappointing meal at all. With that, a great end to a productive day of sightseeing.
