December 3rd 2021: 3 Chain Restaurants in 1 Day

Today, we started out with lunch at Spicy World in Malden, which is anther location of the one I visited in Boston a long time ago. This restaurant has taken the place of Oppa's Kitchen and Bar which I visited a long time ago as well. Same decor as before.

We got the Stir Fried Pork Belly with Leeks (served with daily soup and white rice),
the House Soup,
the Beef Noodle Soup (original),
and the House Seafood Dumplings.
All the dishes except the noodles were pretty good. Unfortunately the soup was too salty. Not coming back again because of that. From here, it was on to the Burlington Mall in Burlington, where we got the Caramel Brulee Latte (Rich caramel brulée sauce meets espresso and steamed milk. For the finishing touch—whipped cream and a caramel brulée topping) from the Starbucks located within the Macy's there.
Nothing special here.

Finally for dinner, we decided to check out the new branch of Fogo de Chao in the mall. Really nice inside.

We got the Churrasco Experience (CONTINUOUS TABLESIDE SERVICE OF SIGNATURE CUTS OF FIRE-ROASTED MEAT, Includes Market Table & Feijoada Bar (Fresh seasonal salads, exotic vegetables, imported cheeses, smoked salmon, cured meats, seasonal soup, Fogo feijoada (traditional black bean stew with sausage) served with rice, fresh orange, farofa (baked yuca flour with bacon), and more. ), which included Crispy Yuca, Mashed Potatoes and Caramelized Bananas,

and we got the Passionate Caipirinha (Fogo Silver Cachaca, passion fruit, lime) as well.

In our opinion, not as good as the one in Boston. At least our little one had his fill of yuca fries. With that, an end to a day of eating and drinking at chain restaurants.
