May 20th 2022: Cupcake in Millbury, Taco in Worcester, Sushi in Boston

Today, I got a free Celebration Cupcake from the B&N Cafe (renamed from Starbucks) located within the Barnes and Noble in Millbury,

then a really good Chorizo Vampiro Taco

from The Taco Spot, a hole in the wall place in Worcester which has taken the place of Lonestar Hut Restaurant, which I visited once a long time ago.
Surprisingly good and flavorful, because of the layer of fried cheese on of the taco layer.

For dinner, we headed to Sushi Momento, a new Japanese restaurant located in the

AC Hotel Boston Cleveland Circle in Boston. Nice decor inside.

We got the Lychee Martini (Vodka, Lychee Liqueur, Lemon & Pineapple Juice),
the Oyster Katsu (Deep Fried Oyster with Wasabi mayo),
the Miso Black Cod,
the Scallop Kushi Yaki (teriyaki sauce),
the Caterpillar Roll (Eel, cucumber, tobiko, & spicy mayo wrapped with layers of avocado, topped with eel sauce),
and the PORK RAMEN (Creamy Miso Broth Served with Pork, Scallion, Bean Sprout, Marinated Egg, Nori).
The appetizers were pretty small portions, but full of flavor, the oysters and cod being cooked perfectly, while the sushi and ramen were excellent too, the miso broth not being too salty. Deceivingly simply menu with a punch on delivery.

From here, we headed into the Allston area to check out Kimchipapi Korndogs and Pon de Joy, located within the Super 88 food court at 1 Brighton Avenue.

We got a Potato Beef Korndog,

and a colorful box of 6 mochi donuts,
consisting of Matcha, Strawberry Milk, Black Sesame, Earl Grey, Hazelnut Chocolate and Blueberry Pie.
Not bad stuff in my opinion, the crispy french fries atop the corndog being an interesting concept. Welcome the new fad of mochi donuts I guess.
