October 28th 2014: Dinner at the Galway House, Boston

Today after work, I went for a meetup dinner at the Galway House, an Irish bar restaurant in the Jamaica Plain area of Boston.

In the end, not many people showed up because of the inaccessibility of the area, and when we finally got to ordering, I decided to go with the Cajun Blackened Prime Rib (20 oz Prime Beef charbroiled with Cajun Spices), with sides of Mac and Cheese and Coleslaw.
Unfortunately, the steak was way too blackened, and after a while, I decided not to ingest any more cancer causing material and stopped eating.

After leaving the place, I decided to get some Caribbean takeout from Nu Flav Restaurant, a typical small place in a sketchy area of town.

I decided to go with the Fried Goat,

the Buffalo Mac and Cheese with Chicken (creamy, rich mac and cheese with a little kick),

the BBQ Rib Plate (1/2 slab of BBQ pork ribs served with French Fries)
and the Stewed Ragu (Cow Feet).

The goat was tasty with the texture of beef jerky, while everything else was pretty good as well. Not coming back though because of the sketchiness of the area.
