April 18th 2016: Meals in Marlborough

We had lunch today at La Tapatia Taqueria, a pretty nice Mexican restaurant in Marlborough.

we got the Cueritos Tostados (Pickled pork skin, fried corn tortilla topped with lettuce, beans, cheese and tomato salsa),
the Tripa Tacos (Soft tortilla with tripe sprinkled with cilantro and chopped onion),
the Shrimp Taco (beer battered on a soft corn tortilla with dressing, cabbage, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, salsa and lime)

and the Shredded Beef Sopes (Fried corn dough topped with refried beans and shredded beef, lettuce, fresh Mexican cheese and salsa).
Everything was really bland, and the pork skin and tripe were interesting concepts, the former having the texture of sea cucumber, but the tripe was way too dry and chewy. Not a great dining experience here at all.

On the way home, we spotted Fruitti Yogurt, so we decided to get some froyo here, getting flavors like Eurotart, Raspberry, Watermelon and Hawaiian Pineapple.
Pretty good this time around, for cheap.
