My other half got me a Thai Chicken Flatbread (Chicken raised without antibiotics, cilantro jalapeño hummus, napa cabbage blend and cilantro with peanut sauce and low-fat Thai vinaigrette on whole grain flatbread) from the Panera Bread in Shrewsbury today.
Pretty tasty. It's been a while, Panera.
Before going to watch a movie, we decided to have dinner at GD Lounge, a new Lebanese restaurant which has taken the place of Byblos Lounge at Union Station in Worcester, which I visited a long time ago. The decor is still pretty much the same.
We got the Chicken Livers (lebanese seasoning, garlic, lemon)
and the Ouzi (oven roasted lamb over rice and seasoned ground beef with fried nuts), which was doubled in portion by accident, but thankfully we did not have to pay for it.
The livers were just so-so, although the rice and lamb were pretty flavorful. It did become an overload of meat after a while though. Overall, nothing special really.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
