April 8th 2016: Dinner at TWK Kitchen, Winchester

Tonight after work, we went for dinner at TWK Kitchen, a relatively new restaurant in Winchester.

This place already had a waiting Line,  and we were thankful that we had made a reservation earlier.

For food, we got a free Spicy Maki (salmon, jalapenos, cucumber, spicy sauce) for checking in on Yelp,
the Curried Lamb Leg (with sweet potato hash and pickled fennel)
and the Crispy Boneless Fried Chicken Legs and Waffle (chili honey glaze, pickled pepper-chipotle butter).
The sushi itself was just so-so, and although the lamb came out in cubes rather than a whole piece of meat, I thought it was still very tasty, especially with the fennel. The best dish of the night though had to be the chicken and waffles, the chicken being really tender and the sauces and spicy butter making it absolutely scrumptious.

For dessert, we got the Creamsicle Creme Brulee (orange curacao, hazelnut brittle),
which was interesting with its orange flavor. Overall, a pretty good meal. I would come back again. No wonder the crowds.
