I had to work late tonight, but still managed to have time to have dinner with my other half, at Ceres Bistro in Worcester.
I have been here many times before, but it was her first time. We got the Seared Scallops (peas, fried potato dumplings, champagne foam),
the Ras El Hanout Lamb Chops (bean fattoush, glace de veau)
and the Pumpkin Creme Brulee (fresh blueberries, whipped cream) for dessert.
The lamb was really tasty with the Mediterranean style salsa, while the potato dumplings with their soft yet crispy texture were simply heavenly with the scallops and vegetables. The dessert was excellent as well, not having too much cinnamon with just the right amount of sweetness. One of the best meals, if not the best I have had here to date.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
