March 12th 2021: Restaurant Week Lunch at The Sole Proprietor, Worcester

Today, we decided to venture out for a Restaurant Week lunch at The Sole Proprietor in Worcester.

For our two course meals, we got the Cup Clam Chowder,
the Bang Bang Shrimp (lightly fried baby shrimp tossed in a spicy sweet Thai chili sauce),
the Chicken and Shrimp Atlanta (sliced chicken breast and and shrimp with feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, scallions, penne pasta and a tomato garlic sauce),

and the LEMON AND TARRAGON SHRIMP SALAD (Seared gulf shrimp over Romaine and arugula, garnished with a tomato basil vinaigrette, bacon bits and walnut pieces. Drizzled with Dijon tarragon dressing).

The soup was good with lots of clam meat, though not as white as expected, with a sort of twist in spices to it. The shrimp were excellent, not having too much flour on it, yet still crispy, sweet and tangy. The salad was excellent as well, the shrimp seared to perfection, although the pasta was just so-so. Overall, still a really good meal.
