March 25th 2021: Two Parks and Dinner in Worcester

Today, while the weather was warm, we went to check out Burncoat Park in Worcester,

which has some trails to reach Burncoat Pond,

and a second skating pond on the other side.
Next, a revisit to Green Hill Park

where there apparently is a new World War I memorial

along with the already existing Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

From here, we were to have dinner at 111 Chop House in town, but as we were early, we decided to check out a few places in the Worcester Public Market, getting a Coconut Milk Tea from Bubblebee Cafe,

which was not bad,

and a Cookie Dough Cupcake

from Creative Cakes Cafe, which has pretty decent decor.

The cake was a tad sweet though.

Finally, we headed to our final destination of the day for dinner. Among the stuff we got today, we got the Blueberry French 75 (Blueberry Vodka, St. Elder Elderflower Liqueur, Blueberry Sorbet, Splash of Lemon, Champagne),

the Short Rib Crostini (Honey-Manchego Ricotta Spread on Grilled Bread Topped with Pickled Carrots),
the Filet & Lobster Oscar (6 oz. Sliced Filet Mignon, Lobster Meat and Sautéed Asparagus on Mashed Potatoes, Topped with Béarnaise),
and the Chicken Fingers with Frites for the little one.

The crostini was soft and not crispy, but the smokiness of the meat more than made up for it, although it wasn't to my other half's liking. Unfortunately, the steak was a little dry, the lobster not that fresh, and the asparagus woody, but thankfully the sauce was good. The chicken and fries were surprisingly good though. Overall, an okay meal this time around at the fanciest restaurant in town.
