Today, we decided to get our little one a haircut, at Snip-Its in Millbury. Due to the pandemic, we had to book our appointment in advance, and notify them when we had arrived early. We had to wait for a bit at the Barnes and Noble next door before the notification for us to go in. Really nice inside.
Unfortunately, our little one was a little traumatized by the haircutting experience, although he was calmed a little by watching videos, and they eventually brought out balls, which finally calmed him down, but we were almost done by then anyway. At least we got to keep the balls. From here, we decided to go get lunch from Feng Asian Bistro nearby.
This time, we got the Nabeyaki Udon (udon noodle, chicken, Crab sticks, fish cake, poached egg in a chicken broth and two pieces of shrimp tempura),
the Feng Chef Roll (salmon, yellowtail, tuna, tobiko, radish sprouts, asparagus, avocado, spicy mayo and BBQ Eel sauce),
and the Eel and Avocado Roll and Spicy King Crab Roll. Not bad, although we could not tell if the crab meat was real or fake.
To end the day, we decided to check out a new place in town, Mykonos Cafe and Bakery, which has taken the place of the Mill Towne Tavern, which I visited a long time ago. Much nicer looking now than the dive bar scene, where I was too scared to even take pictures then.
We got the Tiramisu and the Lemon Raspberry Mousse.
Pretty good, although my other half felt that the tiramisu was not that great. With that, an end to a day of hanging out in Millbury.
