April 29th 2023: Hunting for Sheep in the Webster Area

 Today, after getting a Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheese Steak (Applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, white American cheese and ranch dressing)

from the Jersey Mike's Subs location in Westborough, we decided to go on a hunt for Slater's Sheep in the Webster area, starting out with the Oxford Public Library in Oxford,

April 22nd 2023: Eating Out in the Quincy Area

 With my friend in town today, we brought him to the Quincy area for food after collecting a Raspberry Chambord Mousse cake 

from Konditor Meister in Brantree, heading first to Hundred Miles Chinese Restaurant at 217 Quincy Avenue in Quincy for dinner, where we got the Hot Chili Pepper Chicken,

the Stir-Fried Taiwan Style Rice Noodles

and the House Special Fish in Boiling Spicy Broth.

We also got complimentary dessert at the end of the meal.

The chicken and noodles were really good, although the bones in the fish just killed the delicious flavor of the broth, and the dessert was just not fresh at all. Oh well. To make up for it, we went to Yocha nearby next, getting the Happy Trio (Red Bean + Sesame Soup, Herbal Jelly, 3 pc Mochi (Peanut, Sesame + Red Bean).

Good as always from this place, been a while since we last came.

April 21st 2023: New Places from Ashland to Hopkinton

 Today, on the way home, we passed through Ashland,

going on a hike at Braim Farm, where the path we took to check out the cranberry bog here is shown below in pink.

Absolutely nasty looking water body though. With that, we called it a day for exploring new places. Pretty productive I must say.

April 20th 2023: Checking Out Some Places in Grafton

 Today, I checked out a few new places in Grafton,

Grafton Post Office

especially the waterfall at Hovey Pond at 184 Worcester Street,

before heading to Sole Proprietor for lunch, getting the SHRIMP SCAMPI (Shrimp sautéed with white wine, fresh garlic, chopped fresh tomato and basil. Served on linguine and garnished with Parmesan and Romano cheese)

and the SEAFOOD PAELLA (Salmon, swordfish, shrimp, calamari, scallops, and mussels, sautéed with green peas, tomatoes, and saffron risotto.).

Not bad as always from this place, although the paella tasted more like a risotto.
