March 27th 2026: Butler Farm Dog Park, Millbury

Today, after passing through Sutton,

American Legion Dudley Gendron Post 414

Sutton Public Library

I decided to go on a hike at Butler Farm Dog Park in Millbury,

where the path I took from 44 Singletary Road is shown below in pink.

A little disoriented at first, but I got to the tower, which wasn't much in itself,

but the views from the clearing further on at top of the hill were pretty good.

Overall, not too bad with respect to time spent to get a museum pass.

March 21st 2026: Revisiting the Rawson Hill Brook Reservoir Area in Shrewsbury

Today, we went on a hike at the Rawson Hill Trails in Shrewsbury, where the Rawson Hill Brook Reservoir which we visited a while back. There has been a trail system established since then, and the path we took is shown below in pink.

Outside of the dam itself,

nothing much else to see here.

Nice to be out hiking after the bad winter.

March 14th 2026: Revisiting the Massachusetts State Police Museum and Learning Center, Northbridge

Today, after another delicious meal at Nan Xiang Express in Shrewsbury, this time getting the Beef Scallion Pancake,

the Braised Beef Noodle Soup

the Spicy Beef Soup Dumplings and Chicken and Shrimp Siu Mai.

From here, it was on to the Whitinsville area of Northbridge to visit the Massachusetts State Police Museum and Learning Center, which has moved from Grafton since the last time I visited. Much nicer and bigger now.

The little one had fun running around the museum on a scavenger hunt, so overall it was a good day revisiting this small museum.

March 8th 2026: Historical Museums in Boxborough and Southborough

Today, we checked out the Boxborough Historical Museum in Boxborough

and the Southborough History and Arts Center in Southborough.

Small town history museums, although Southborough was better. With that, we decided to get lunch at Nan Xiang Express in Shrewsbury, this time getting the Beef Tripe in Spicy Sauce (cold)
