December 4th 2016: Teatime in Somerville, Ramen in Boston

We were at Assembly Row in Somerville in the morning,  and decided to grab a bite from Paul Bakery, getting a Pumpkin Spiced Tea

And a Hazelnut Croissant.

I did not take to the tea,  but at least the croissant was tasty, although I could not taste the Hazelnut flavor.

For dinner, we were in the Newbury Street area of Boston, getting ramen and such from Wen's Yunnan Noodles and Ramen.

We got the Original Bubble Tea,

the Fried Sliced Fish,
the Barbarian Ramen (slow cooked seasoned beef flank served over ramen and potatoes, carrots),
the Professor Rice Noodle Soup (shrimp, mushroom, fish slices, crab meat, tofu skin, chives)

and the Tonkotsu Ramen (rich pork broth, wakame, nori, chashu, egg, sesame, dry onion, scallion, naruto maki, corn).
The drink was alright, although the bubbles were undercooked and still hard. The ramen was not too bad, but there was nothing special about the fish, being a tad salty too, as was the other soup, while the beef was a little on the sweet side. Not coming back here again for sure.
