Today, we decided to check out the Japanese BBQ place in Brookline, Gyukaku. I have been here once before in the past to celebrate my friend's birthday, but didn't really get to try much, so today was my first real chance.
We got the Geisha for 2, which consisted of Addicting Cucumber,
Avocado Salad,
Miso Soup,
Premium Rib Eye Steak Ponzu, Beef Tongue, Yaki Shabu Beef Miso, Bistro Hanger Steak Miso,
Fried Bacon Chips,
Edamame,
Zucchini,
and the Chocolate Lava Cake with Green Tea Ice Cream.
I have to say, the meat was absolutely high quality and tasty, and everything else that came with it just perfected the meal. Definitely much better than Sura in Medford.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
