November 4th 2017: Checking Out Flowers in Winchester

There was the Orchid Show going on at the Mahoney's Garden Center in Winchester today, so we decided to go check it out. When we got there, we found vs that there were already a good variety of flowers and orchids outside the show area,

And the show area did not seem to be. Anything special from the outside looking in, hence we decided it was not worth the 10 bucks to enter.

After leaving the area, we decided to go get some food at Sura BBQ, a Korean BBQ place in the town of Medford which has taken the place of Chung Ki Wa, which I visited a long time ago. The decor looks pretty much the same though.

We decided to get the combo for three people, which came with side dishes,

a Steamed Egg,

a Bean Paste Stew,

a Scallion Pancake,

and we got the LA Short Ribs,

the Prime Brisket and Pork Short Rib for meats.

We also got the Peach Ripieno for dessert.

The brisket was really bland without the accompanying sauces, but thankfully the other 2 meats were seasoned. The pancake was not bad, as was the stew, although the egg was bland as well. The dessert was decent though, and interesting being in the peach skin. Overall though, way too expensive for what we got. Not coming back again.
