We decided to check out China Gourmet in Framingham today, which used to be named Samba West, which I have been to before in the past. Apparently it was just a name change, as people kept confusing the place with the one slightly further down Route 9. The decor was still the same as expected.
We got the Mala Spicy Beef in Wok
and the Surf and Turf Maki (Seared Fusion Steak Inside, with marinated red onion and avocado, topped with spicy Alaskan king crab, scallion and tobiko).
The beef was actually pretty good, but the sushi roll was a little bland.
Overall, a hit and a miss here. I will probably come back for the Chinese food, but not the Japanese.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
