I decided to get Chinese takeout today from Stir Fry 88, located within the Greendale Mall in Worcester. I got the Manager's Special, consisting of Fried Rice and Orange Flavored Chicken.
The chicken was cold, while the rice was a little on the salty side. Definitely not one of the places on top of my list.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.

January 26th 2017: Dinner at 7 Nana, Worcester
Tonight after work, we decided to have dinner at the 7 Nana Japanese Steakhouse in Worcester.
My experience the last time I was here wasn't too bad, and as my other half had always wanted to try this place, I finally decided to take her today.
I have to say, the menu had become more simplified, and the food has gone downhill as well.
We got the Lobster Puffs, which turned out to just be crab Rangoons by another name.
The Bruins Roll (Spicy crab, avocado, mango, spicy lobster salad and Crunchy wrapped in Soy bean paper) tasted weird at times, the sweet Mango sauce not going well with everything else at all.
Even the Spicy Tuna Gyoza (lightly crisp gyoza. served with guacamole and Thai mango chili and eel sauce), which I tried the last time I was here, was not up to standard.
Definitely never coming back again.

January 25th 2017: Second Time at P.F. Chang's, Natick
We had a coupon to use, so we headed to P.F. Chang's in Natick for a second time,
getting the Walnut Shrimp with Melon (citrus Asian aioli glaze, warm candied walnuts, cool honeydew),
redeeming the Long Life Noodles and Prawns (crispy prawns, garlic egg noodles, roasted chilli peppers, chopped black beans),
topping it off with the Berry Ginger Shortcake for dessert.
The noodles somehow reminded me of home, and the melon was an excellent addition to a dish I have had many times now. The dessert was good as well, although they should have taken off the leaves from the strawberries. Overall, a pretty good meal still.

January 22nd 2017: Dim Sum in the Morning, Pizza at Night
We went for dimsum this morning at Ming's Seafood in Malden, going really early to avoid the crowds,
but having to wait a little for the egg tarts to be ready.
Later on at night, there was a football game on, so we decided to order pizza from Lisa's Family Pizzeria in Melrose, getting the Wings (8 pieces with honey mustard),
the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken (No sauce. Grilled chicken, Canadian bacon, bacon bits, pineapple and bbq sauce)
and the White Truffle and Arugula Pizza (No sauce, truffle oil, mushrooms, finished off with fresh arugula and shaved parmesan cheese).
Pretty good meal to share with the family, and the Patriots won by a good margin. Good day to say the least.

January 21st 2017: Second Time Exploring Rockport
It was pretty warm today, so we decided to head to Rockport for the day, starting off at the Bearskin Neck area of town.
We ventured out to the Rockport Breakwater from the end of Bearskin Neck,
where one can see the Straitsmouth Island Light from afar.
From here, I went on to visit other places in town,
like the Rockport Public Library,
The Headlands, consisting of a short hike from 25 Atlantic Avenue to great ocean views
and a view of Straitsmouth Island Light,
Steep Bank Landing at the end of Whale Cove Lane,
with yet another view of Straitsmouth Island Light,
and finally Flat Rock Point, a short hike from 30 Eden Road to views,
of both Straitsmouth Island Light in the distance
and Thacher Island close up.
Finally, it was time for dinner, so we decided to check out Pho Paris, a pretty nice Vietnamese restaurant in the town of Peabody. We got the Hu Tieu Mi Phuc Kien (Phuc Kien Style Soup),
and the Pho Tai Bo Vien (noodle soup, rare eye round steak, beef meatballs).
both of which were really good, the former reminding me of home. Glad we finally got to try this place.
With that, a day of exploring Rockport was finally at an end.
