March 22nd 2012: Finishing Up Watertown After Work

Tonight after work, I had a meetup dinner to go to in Boston, but as the sun was taking its time to set, I decided to continue my sightseeing in Watertown where I last left off, heading to the Arsenal Park area, with the Arsenal Center for the Arts and the Commander's Mansion in  the same vicinity as well.

I visited a few other places in town before heading to Boston.

Heading into Boston, the meetup dinner was to be at New Golden Gate Restaurant on 66 Beach Street. About 11 of us came for the event, and it was cool to meet someone who had connections to Singapore as well as Michigan. We kept talking about the food and life in Michigan as well. With regard to food, we ended up ordering a lot of food, including roast duck and chicken, chinese broccoli, roast pork, Pe Pa Tofu, Chicken and Corn Soup, Twin Lobsters, fried flounder and even Cashew Chicken.

Overall, the food was pretty much like what I had at many Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. They all just have different names that's all.
