July 25th 2013: Dinner at Park Grill and Spirits, Worcester

Today after work, I had wanted to go learn how to sail on Lake Quinsigamond in the city of Worcester with my friend, but as it rained all evening, that put paid to the plans. Instead, we decided to go hiking instead, passing by a few places in town
St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center
American Antiquarian Society
Christ Tabernacle Apostolic Church

before heading to Crow Hill at the end of Clarendon Street. The short path we took here to get to the top is shown below in pink.
There were okay views to the east at the easternmost edge of the mountaintop, but nothing much else as the trees were too tall.

From here, it was on to dinner at Park Grill and Spirits, which has taken the place of Biagio's, where I had dinner some time ago.

The place still looks pretty much the same as before, though a little better than the run down place that Biagio's was.

My friend was vegetarian, so we got vegetarian dishes, except for my soup which was Cream of Chicken. It was pretty good, and definitely did not come out of a can.

My friend got the Eggplant Rolatini (Hand breaded eggplant rolled with our special blend of four cheeses and fresh herbs. Baked and topped with homemade marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese with a side of angel hair pasta),

while I got the Harvest Ravioli (Pumpkin Raviolis with roasted pecans, craisins and spinach, finished in a champagne sauce)
The eggplant was actually pretty good, although the pasta was still a little too sour for me. The ravioli was pretty good too, being made of everything sweet, yet not going overboard at the same time.

After a pretty good meal, it was finally time to call it a day. I hope that it won't rain the next time we try to go for our sailing lesson.
