June 16th 2018: Lunch with Family at 110 Grill, Worcester

While out with family today, we decided to have lunch at 110 Grill, a new bar restaurant in Worcester, a branch of the one in Chelmsford which I visited a long time ago. Nice modern decor to say the least.

We got the Vegetarian Pesto Pasta (ROASTED TOMATOES, ARTICHOKES AND CAVATAPPI PASTA, TOSSED IN A CREAMY PESTO SAUCE AND FINISHED WITH SHAVED REGGIANO),

the BBQ Chicken Salad  (FRIED CHICKEN BREAST, ARTISAN MIX, CORN, BLACK BEANS, GRAPE TOMATOES, APPLEWOOD SMOKED BACON, AVOCADO, WHITE CHEDDAR AND BANANA PEPPERS, TOSSED IN HOUSEMADE RANCH AND FINISHED WITH A BBQ DRIZZLE)

and the Steak & Cheese (Certified Angus Beef ® SHAVED STEAK, CARAMELIZED ONIONS, GREEN AND RED PEPPERS, SMOTHERED WITH AMERICAN CHEESE, SERVED IN A CRUSTY SUB ROLL), which came with a side of Onion Strings.

The pasta was pretty good, while the sandwich was excellent as well, even with the onions and peppers. The best of the lot was the salad, the chicken being crisp along with the bacon, and the flavors of all the ingredients coming together really well, with the peppers giving it the perfect tangy kick to finish it off. Glad we decided to come here today.

We completed our day with a refreshing Strawberry Green Tea from the Starbucks in Northborough before finally heading home.
