September 11th 2015: Dinner at Chilli Garden, Medford

I decided to check out Chilli Garden, a new small Chinese restaurant serving Szechuan Style food in Medford.

We went with the Rabbit on Bone with Black Bean Sauce,

The Beef Tongue with Peppercorn Oil

And the Sliced Beef, Omasum and Tendon.

The rabbit had lots of bones, and it was way too spicy, along with the tendon, although still pretty flavorful. I liked the tongue the best because of the flavor, and that it wasn't as spicy.

For dessert, we got the Sweet Sesame Dumplings,

which were not too bad, although I wish the soup it came in was syrup instead of water. Oh well.

After dinner, we decided to get more dessert from Monkey King Tea in Malden, getting the Dark Twister (taro sesame shake),

The Chocolate Egg Puffs

and the MKT Musubi.

The Drink itself was not bad, although I am not a fan of the egg puffs in that flavor, while the Musubi was just alright.
