September 6th 2015: Watching a Broadway Show in NYC

 We headed into NYC today,

Bowery Savings Bank Building

Bryant Park

stopping first by Nyonya, a Malaysian restaurant at 199 Grand Street in Manhattan NY, getting the Prawn Mee Soup (egg noodles, shredded pork, shrimp, vegetables, bean sprouts and dried onions in spicy shrimp broth),

the Asam Laksa (Spicy and sour thick rice noodles served in chef's special lemon grass broth with fish flakes and vegetables)
and the ABC (shaved ice with red bean, corn, palm seeds, jelly and red rose syrup).
Not too bad a start to our NYC trip.

Next, we headed to the Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum,

which in my opinion is a tad overrated.

Next, we attended an excellent Broadway performance of Jersey Boys at the August Wilson Theatre,
before checking into the Roosevelt Hotel at 45 East 45th Street,
then heading out to Gaby, a nice French restaurant nearby for dinner.

We got the Baby assorted kale (Assorted baby kale leaves, roasted tomatoes, shaved parmesan, sherry vinaigrette),

the Foie gras au torchon (Foie gras marinated with Cognac, ginger marmalade, grilled country bread)

the Seared bronzini (Pan seared filet, red quinoa, spinach, yellow pepper coulis)

and the Caramelized Canelé Bordelais (Fig compote, roasted nuts, pistachio ice cream) for dessert.
Excellent meal to end the day.
