Before going bowling today, I decided to grab dinner at Maria's Kitchen, a Spanish cafeteria style restaurant located at 826 Main Street in the seedy side of Worcester. I ordered a whole bunch of stuff, including a soup,
brown rice, pork and beef tripe, cod fish, beef liver, sweet and boiled plantains,
and even a coconut dessert,
as well as a Tamarindo drink.
The food was actually pretty good, although the Tamarindo and the dessert weren't to my liking, the drink being a little sour and me not liking coconut too much.
Overall, the food was good, but I would not bring my friends here because of the seedy atmosphere.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
