May 10th 2015: Mother's Day in Boston and in Marblehead

This morning, I went out with my friend and her family for a Mother's Day Dimsum brunch at Chau Chow City in the Chinatown area, passing by the new aerial sculpture on the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

Pretty good meal as always, especially the ginger flavored tofu dessert at the end.

After brunch and making some earrings and attempting to start on a bracelet, we decided to head out for the day to Marblehead, visiting the Chandler Hovey Park and Fort Sewall before heading to Thai Market Restaurant, a nicely decorated Thai place in town.
We got a Thai Iced Tea,
the Green Salad (Mixed greens with miso ginger dressing and croutons),

the Por Pia Sod (Steamed rolls with sweet sausage, crab meat, egg-strips, tofu, scallion and tamarind mustard sauce)\
and the Clay Pot Prawns (Steamed with glass noodles, shitake, ginger, mushrooms, scallions and jasmine rice).
Everything was pretty goo, although the rolls tasted a little weird to me. Not a bad place to come to in Marblehead.
