And the Ricottas Mess Pizza (Sweet Marinated roasted Chicken and Spicy Buffalo Chicken chunks topped with ricotta cheese).
The former was a really delicious version of the Hawaiian, while the latter was just alright I guess.
From here it was on to the restaurant, which was pretty small, as can be expected of places along Centre Street, and it was already full of people. Thankfully I had already made reservations.
For appetizers, we got the Local Oysters (Green Garlic and champagne mignonette, tiny herbs),
which were pretty small, but delicious at the same time.
For our pasta course, I got the Toasted Semolina Rigatoni (Squash and blossoms, Tomato, summer truffle, Pine Nuts, taleggio),
While my friend got the Mafalde (Fava bean, Wild Mushroom, roasted radishes, pecorino, Grains of paradise, Herbed bread crumbs).
Both pasta Dishes looked simple, but tasted pretty amazing. I especially liked the Mafalde.
For our entrées, we got the Striped Bass (Green olives, Sundried tomato, corona bean Salad)
And the Risotto (mascarpone, sweet corn puree, Roasted corn, hen of the woods, Chili oil)
The fish was really fresh, although I did not take to the sourness of the Salad. The risotto was tasty as well, although I thought the hen was Chicken meat, when it actually is a Mushroom. It did become a little intense After eating it for a while though.
Finally, for dessert, we got the Lemon Sorbet (basil, berries, Salt and pepper, Pine nut cardamom biscotti).
Not bad either, although it got way too sour After a while to finish.
Overall, a really good meal. Definitely would come back again.
