doing a Tasting session
And decided to go with the Strawberry Grand Marnier flavor.
From here we went to get some food from King Do Restaurant, a Vietnamese cafe in the Dorchester area of Boston, where we got Sugarcane Juice (nuoc mia)
and Mi Quang.
It was good to have Sugarcane Juice after so long, and the noodles were something I have never had before as well. Great recommendation by my friend.
After lunch, we headed to the Mall at Chestnut Hill for a bit,
Before finally heading to Weston For dinner at Dumpling Daughter, a Chinese fast food place in town, a pretty interesting concept.
We got the Petite Chicken Dumplings with Slow Cooked Sichuan Sauce,
The Braised Pork Belly Taiwanese Buns (cilantro, cucumber)
And the Three Day Pork Ramen (Classic pork broth, fresh Ramen noodles, pork Belly, soft Egg, bamboo, Red pickled ginger, kombu seaweed, Scallions).
The buns were okay, while the pork for the Ramen was really tasty given it is fermented for 3 days. The broth itself was just so so though. The Chicken Dumplings were the best of the lot though, mainly because of the slightly sweet soy sauce.
Overall, this place is worth checking out because of the concept and the interesting stuff on the menu.
