August 9th 2015: Peach Picking in Peabody and More

My friend and I started out today peach picking at Brooksby Farm in Peabody.

The reddest peaches were the ones to pick, although the really ripe ones were really soft, which I liked, While my friend preferred the Crunchy ones.
After filling up our bag, which only cost 9 bucks,

we were off to sightseeing for the day, Checking out several places in town
Boston Marriott Peabody
Spinelli's Function Facility
Holiday Inn Suites Peabody
Springhill Suites Peabody
Salem Country Club

Before heading to breakfast at the Family Fare Restaurant in town. This place was already full of people when we arrived, but thankfully we did not have to wait long to get seated. For food, we got the French Toast

And the Lamb Kabob.

The toast was absolutely delicious, especially with the butter provided, but the Lamb was tough as nails. Oh well. guess this place is only good for breakfast.

Next, it was on to the Teresa's Function Facility in North Reading,
Then the Tewksbury Country Club in Tewksbury,
A few places in Billerica,
Country Club of Billerica
Courtyard Marriott Billerica
And the Hilton Garden Inn in Burlington
Before our next meal at the H Mart in town.

My friend got the Jam pong Noodles (spicy noodle soup with red peppers and seafood) from the Young Chow Loo store,

while I got the Korean Cold Noodle from Woo Jeon.

The two bowls of noodles were contrasting in almost every single way, thick Noodles for the former to thin for the latter, spicy to no spice, hot to cold, seafood Flavored to a strong sweet sesame taste, both really good though.

We checked out a few more places in Woburn
Fairways at Woburn Country Club
Best Western Plus New Englander
before finally calling it a day for sightseeing.

Before heading home, I decided to get some food for tomorrow's lunch from Montecristo Taqueria Y Pupuseria at 574 Broadway in Everett, getting the Garnachas,

Which smelled really bad and tasted just alright.

I decided to get more from Bar B Q To Nite, an Indian store located at the back of an Indian Grocery, where I got the Goat Paya (goat feet) Curry and the Naan.

The naan wasn't Crispy at all, although the Goat feet were pretty interesting, being mostly Tendon and bone.

With that, a pretty fun weekend finally came to an end. Back to work tomorrow.
