On the way home today, my mom and I stopped by Sono Asian Cuisine, a Chinese Japanese restaurant in Arlington, for lunch.
We got the Shrimp Kung Pao Style
And the Basil Beef (Sauteed in SONO basil sauce with sugar snap peas, onion, broccoli, red & green pepper, celery and zucchini).
Not too bad, but nothing special from this Americanized place.
Later on, while at the Square One Mall in Saugus, we decided to get some food at the food court, getting a Honey Dipped Donut, a French Cruller and Hash Browns,
from Dunkin' Donuts, and a Chicken Bacon and Ranch Pizza
from Roman Delight Pizza.
The French Cruller was good as always, as were the hash browns, although I still do not like the taste of the oil and dough in the other donut. The pizza was delicious though.
To end the day, I decided to check out one more place, Ultra Spicy House, a Chinese place located within the 99 Asian Supermarket in Malden, getting the Spicy Sauce Tofu Skin.
Not bad, but the tofu was cold. Not sure if that is how it is supposed to be.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
