Then headed to dinner in town at Isabella Restaurant, a somewhat upscale restaurant.
For food, we got the Crispy Duck Leg (Arugula/fennel salad and Quince Mustard Glaze) appetizer
And the Fried Scallops (buttermilk scallops, brown Vegetable Sticky Rice and sriracha aioli).
Surprisingly, the duck was actually a larger portion than the scallops, and definitely tasted much better as well, mainly because of the Crispy skin and melt in your mouth fat, sinful as it sounds, although the scallops were delicious as well.
For dessert, we ventured to try the Poached Pear (with Cinammon Grand Marnier Cream),
which thankfully was really soft and did not taste like cough drops which was what happened the last time I tried them.
Overall, a really good meal, glad we ventured into Dedham today.
