June 17th 2015: Adult Night at Legoland, Somerville

Today after work, I went with my friend to Adult Night at Legoland Discovery Center, located at Assembly Row in Somerville. After reading all the bad reviews about it, I was a little concerned that we would not have a good time, but my fears were unfounded. The models of Boston were pretty amazing, especially with a scavenger hunt thrown in with Lego animals in the mix.
The next room had the cafeteria and all sorts of games,

along with a 4D cinema, which we kept watching,  And kept getting wet of course.

The shooting game was fun as well, and I won, though just barely.

After a while, both of us were getting hungry, so we decided to head to Papagayo nearby for dinner. A pretty nice Mexican restaurants with cute skeleton dolls all around.

My friend got the Red Sangria by mistake, (Blend of Wine, Fresh Fruit Juices, Sparkling Water, Liquor and Marinates for Hours until Ready to Serve), which had a little too much alcohol for my liking.

For food, we got the Maine Lobster Guacamole (Applewood Bacon Bits, Minced Scallions),
the Carnitas De Lechon Taquizas (Quarter Kilo Oven Seared and Braised Pork Belly With Soft Flour Tortillas, Minced Onions, Lime and Cilantro, , Pineapple Pico, Pickled Cucumber Salad)

and the Short Ribs (Ancho Chili Glaze, Shiitake Mushroom Chips, Cotija, Mashed Potato)

The pork belly with the pineapple and cucumber salad was delicious, followed by the short ribs which were pretty good as well, especially the sauteed spinach. The gauacamole was a little on the salty side however, although it was better going together with the chips provided. I would not get it again though as it was not worth the cost.

A pretty good meal overall though. Glad I got to see what Legoland is all about.
