May 9th 2014: My First Day of Scuba Lessons in Chelmsford

Today after work was my first day of lessons to get scuba certified at Northeast Scuba in Chelmsford. Before that, I decided to grab some food from Fio's Express, a pizza takeout place in the city of Lowell, getting the Polynesian Pizza (Teriyaki Sauce, Pineapple, Ham and Bacon)

and the Mandarin Orange Specialty Wings.
The wings were just alright, while the pizza was actually pretty good with the teriyaki sauce.

With respect to the class itself, even before we started, we were told that we had to have our own boots, flippers, goggles and snorkel, so I went out to get mine.
A well-fitting pair of goggles is one that when put on one's face without straps, stays on snug with inhalation, while the boots have to be really snug to one's feet as well. The class was about scuba equipment today, how to use and maintain them, and how to enter the water. I look forward to more tomorrow, and for actual pool lessons as well.
