This morning, we started out in Boston,

checking out the
MassArt Art Museum, which did not have much exhibits today. Not sure why there was so many reception staff at the front desk.
We next went to the newly remodelled
Landmark Center. Definitely much nicer than before.
Within the Landmark Center is the
Time Out Market, which is a really fancy food court.
We got several things from several places here, getting the Sea Salt Whiskey Caramel (rich caramel glaze with a subtle hint of whisky, sprinkled with sea salt) from
Union Square Donuts,
A Matcha Latte from
Say Coffee Co,
the Cup Of Chowder (Clams, bacon, potato) from
Cusser's Roast Beef and Seafoodand the SPICY TORCHED HAMACHI* (made with crispy nori taco shells & sushi rice,
truffled jalapeño butter, scallion) and SOY BRAISED SHIITAKE & HON SHIMEJI MUSHROOMS (miso-truffle aioli, inari tofu, garlic, scallion, lemon zest) from GoGo Ya.
The donut was a little too dense for our liking, and the chowder was actually served cold at first, and nothing special overall. The chicken was really tasty though, especially with the yuzu sauce for once, and the seaweed tacos were an interesting concept that carried off well. Overall, a pretty good experience here.
Next, it was on to Newton,
where we drove around the newly accessible Mount Ida College, currently the
Mount Ida campus of
UMass Amherst.
Finally, we headed to Dedham, getting drinks from
Moge Tee, the newly opened bubble tea place in
Legacy Place.
we got the Hawaii Bubble Milk Tea
and the Red Bean Tofu Pudding Milk Tea.
Pretty good actually, although we were a little deceived by the Hawaii name, being just the color of the bubbles rather than influencing the flavor of the tea. With that, an end to a day of spending time in the Greater Boston area.
