April 22nd 2013: Lunch at Fu Loon Restaurant, Malden

Today, while doing food truck stuff, my friend took out some time to have lunch with me at Fu Loon Restaurant, a Chinese place in Malden, which is actually pretty decent in terms of decor.

We decided to order from the authentic Chinese food menu, getting the Szechuan Steamed Beef,

the Beancurd Leaf with Pork,

and the Starch Noodles with Pork.

All the dishes were really delicious, although the beef was extremely spicy, pointing to its authenticity as a Szechuan dish of course.

Later in the day, I had an opportunity to get some dessert from CB Scoops in Medford. After looking at the list of ice cream flavors and desserts on display, i decided to get the White Chocolate Oreo Delight, Chocolate Truffle Mini Bomb, Toffee Caramel Pretzel and the Maine Black Bear Ice Cream (raspberry, chocolate chip). The desserts were actually pretty good.
