Today, while in Westborough, we started out with a quick bite from the Burger King, getting the Morticia's Kooky Chocolate Shake and Thing's Rings.
Not too bad for a quick bite.
Next, it was lunch at Red Heat Tavern, getting the Fried Shrimp for the little one,
the Tavern Chili (diced sirloin, ground beef, red beans, cheddar jack cheese, sour cream, scallions, tortilla chips),
and the Sesame Ginger Chicken Bowl (general tso-glazed chicken, broccoli, quinoa rice mix, julienned vegetables, cilantro, scallions, toasted almonds, ginger soy dressing, sriracha aioli).
I have to say the chili was pretty good, although I did not get to try the chicken.
For dinner, we went to
Mandarin Restaurant, getting the Szechuan Tofu (cubed soft tofu in a spicy chili bean peppercorn sauce),
the Salt and Pepper Shrimp
and the Eel Maki (avocado).
The tofu was not bad, although the shrimp was a tad different, but okay, as was the sushi. Overall, an okay day of eating in Westborough.
